Notice Text
First and final notice has been served to all owners and/or occupiers of land situated within the Shire of Esperance. As a measure to assist in the control and prevention of bush fires, and pursuant to the powers contained in Section 33 Bush Fires Act 1954 you have a legal obligation to meet the requisitions of this notice and keep the property compliant from 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022. Failure to comply with the Shire’s Fire Hazard Reduction Notice may result in a penalty up to $5,000, with additional contractor and administrations costs to carry out fire prevention works on your property.
