The salaries and allowances tribunal has determined a general 4% increase in remuneration provided to members of parliament. The tribunal has maintained the members’ allowance at $88,000 per annum. The tribunal will review this allowance following the 2023-24 members’ allowance reports. The tribunal is anticipating releasing its draft determination for public comment in October 2024 with a final version to be determined in November 2024.
