Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, owners and occupiers of land within the City of Vincent are required to clear inflammable matter on land owned and/or occupied by them on or before the 31st day of October 2021, and thereafter up to and including the 30th day of April 2022. The penalty for failing to comply with this notice is a fine of not more than $5,000.00. Burning of garden refuse and lighting of fires in the open air is prohibited within the districts of the City of Vincent between the 31st day of October 2021 and the 30th day of April 2022.
