The following instrument is published under the Fair Trading Act 2010 section 21: Consumer Goods (Elastic luggage straps) Safety Standard 2017. This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation. On and after 1 July 2019, an elastic luggage strap must meet the requirements set out in section 8.
