Made by the minister for police under the Road Traffic Act 1974 section 72(2)(a) and (2a). This notice is the Road Traffic (Self-testing Breath Analysis Apparatus) Notice 2017. Apparatus of the type known as the “Dräger Alcotest 9510” is approved for the purpose of ascertaining a person’s blood alcohol content by analysis of a sample of the person’s breath and is designated as self-testing apparatus.
