This code is the Water Services Code of Practice (Family Violence) 2020, made by the Minister under section 26 of the Act. It applies to licensees providing water services to residential customers and requires them to have a family violence policy covering training, information, account identification, information protection, debt management, and evidence requirements. Licensees must publish the policy on their website and provide hard copies on request. The policy must be reviewed at least every 5 years.
