Roger Cook, the Minister for Health, declares a public health state of emergency in respect of COVID-19, a human coronavirus declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organisation on 11 March 2020. The declaration applies to the whole of the State of Western Australia. The declaration was made at 4:25 pm on 22 September 2021 and has effect from the same time and date. It remains in force until 4:25 pm on 28 September 2021, or the expiry of any extension, or it is revoked.
