Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, the City of Kalamunda gives notice to owners and occupiers of land within the City of Kalamunda to comply with fire hazard reduction requirements. Compliance is due before 1 November 2020 and maintained until 31 March 2021. Failure to comply can result in a penalty of up to $5000. Variation requests must be submitted by 1 October 2020, with a $150 fee for late applications.
