Approval and exemption from certain speed and equipment provisions for craft participating in slswa events, rescues and associated organised training. Exemptions apply to inflatable rescue boats, personal watercraft, paddle boards, surf skis and surf rowboats under slswa control within 5 nautical miles of the mainland, subject to conditions including safety management plans and adherence to guidelines.
