Christopher John Dawson APM was appointed Governor of the State of Western Australia by a commission dated 18 May 2022. He took the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Office on 15 July 2022 and assumed office as Governor of the State of Western Australia. This commission supersedes the commission appointing the Honourable Kim Christian Beazley.
