These regulations amend the Animal Welfare (General) Regulations 2003. Various codes of practice relating to animal welfare are adopted and modified, including those for cattle, livestock transport, saleyards, racing, circuses, exhibited animals, rabbits, rodeos, harness racing, goats, farmed buffalo, deer, pigeon keeping, poultry, sheep, feral animals, and captive-bred emus.
