“This amendment is modelled on section 38 of the Criminal Investigation (Covert Powers) Act 2012, which provides for information about controlled operations to be excluded from reporting when the minister is advised that the information, if made public, could reasonably be expected to endanger a person’s safety, prejudice an investigation or prosecution, or compromise any law enforcement agency’s operation, activities or methodologies.”
