refer to the Ministers answer to question on notice No. 4226, and I ask: (a) in relation to the Minister’s answer to part (2) of that question, what is the distinction between ‘VET students’ and ‘year 11 and 12 students’; (b) in relation to part (3) of that question, will the Minister table a copy of each of the Bunbury Regional Trade Training Centre Deeds of Licence with an Registered Training Organisation (RTO) (the licence cost may be redacted); (c) if no to (b), why not; (d) why is TAFE making use of the Albany Trade Training Centre, does it not have facilities at the TAFE Albany campus; (e) for each of the certificate courses provided at each of the Trade Trading Centres, for each 2015 and 2106 identified in answer to (2), and for which student enrolled in those courses, which school was the student enrolled at the time of participating in the course; and (f) for each of the certificate courses provided at each of the Trade Training Centres, for each 2015 and 2016 identified in answer to (2), how many students participated in the course?

a. Vocational Education Training (VET) students will receive a Certificate in their chosen area (i.e. Engineering, Recreation and Plumbing). Year 11 and 12 students will complete Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) subjects such as Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. ATAR students can also complete a VET course.
b. - c. The Deeds of Licence are agreements between the Registered Training Organisation and the school at which the centre is located, not with the Bunbury Regional Trade Training Centre. See tabled paper no.
d. The Albany Trade Training Centre is used in the delivery of VET in School (VETiS) courses in accordance with the original agreement between North Albany Senior High School and the TAFE due to lack of facilities to accommodate all courses at TAFE. TAFE was involved in the design concept of the Albany Trade Training Centre.
