(1) What is the Department’s policy on timing of payments for grants or contracted services?
(2) Does the Department meet its own policy objectives to the non Government organisations?
(3) Have any non Government organisations complained about late payment of grants or regular contract payments in the period 1 March 2009 to 1 March 2010?
(4) How many grant or contract payments have been made late in the period 1 March 2009 to 1 March 2010?

The Drug and Alcohol Office advises:
(1) In accordance with Schedule 4 of the Drug and Alcohol Office contract or grant agreement for all funded agencies, all payments are to be made within 10 business days of the due date in the funding schedule.

advises:
(1) Payments will be made according to the terms of the associated contract.
