The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA) has access to theatres at King Edward Memorial Hospital to undertake paediatric general anaesthetic procedures. Princess Margaret Hospital has a dental clinic and access to the hospital's theatres for emergency paediatric dental services, such as, dental extraction for the relief of pain. (2) OHCWA leases theatre time through existing facilities at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital. (3) There are no plans to construct a dental theatre at the current Princess Margaret Hospital. The planning for the new hospital will include provision for dental theatre procedures.
