Given that Hon Tom Stephens was neither a minister nor a member of Parliament yesterday, in what official capacity did he announce the heritage listing of Parliament House? Dr G.I. GALLOP
AnswerView source ↗
As I understand it, the heritage listing of Parliament House had been made. Is the Leader of the Opposition saying that the heritage listing should have been made but never announced? Is that what he is saying? The decision was made by the minister. It should have been made years ago. As far as the Leader of the Opposition is concerned, this trivial matter indicates that he is out of touch. Mr C.J. Barnett interjected. The SPEAKER: Order, Leader of the Opposition!
