I refer to transgender and gender diverse individuals in prisons across Western Australia, and the important role hormone replacement therapy plays in maintaining their health and wellbeing, and I ask: (a) is hormone replacement therapy available to transgender and gender diverse inmates; (b) if yes to (a), to what extent and under which conditions is it available to transgender and gender diverse inmates; and (c) if no to (a), why not?
