733. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Ports:
I refer to the Utah bulk handling
facility located at the port of Port Hedland.
(1) What is the projected 2023–24
throughput for the facility?
(2) What is the estimated 2024–25 throughput for the
facility?
(3) Are there
any agreements in place to reserve capacity at the facility; and, if so, what
is the total capacity that is reserved?
(4) Is the
reserved capacity on a ''use it or lose it'' basis; and, if so,
within what timeframe is reserved capacity required to be relinquished?

(1) It is 20.7 million tonnes per
annum.
(2) It is 22.2 million tonnes per
annum.
(3) Yes, 24.48 million
tonnes per annum have been allocated in aggregate to customers under long-term
commercial arrangements.
(4) The terms of the commercial
arrangements are commercial-in-confidence.
