(1) Forty-four high schools will be allocated additional staff and/or funding, 35 high schools will receive an allocation of staffing, 30 will receive funding and 21 schools will receive both staffing and funding. (2) The list of schools was selected through a process of consultation with district directors, corporate executives and the State School Teachers Union of Western Australia. (3) The target group for the strategy is year 8 and 9 students. (4) The strategy is for four years. An initial commitment on the current level of resourcing has been made to December 2002.
