I refer to question on notice No. 776 of May 15 2003 and the answers provided -
(1) Can the Minister explain what special expertise does the Department have to factually determine that the drill hole located on the Aboriginal reserve was many years old?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) Can the Minister state the specific or approximate date or year when the Department believes the drill hole was drilled into the Aboriginal reserve?
(4) If no to (3), how can the Department be factually sure that the drill hole was in fact many years old?
(5) Can the Minister explain how the Department managed to locate this drill hole on the ground?
(6) If no to (5), why not?
(7) Was the drill hole quite easily noticeable on the ground?
(8) If no to (7), why not?
(9) If yes to (7), can the Minister explain why?
