(1)-(2) The Bill passed through the Parliament at the end of the last session and we commenced drafting the regulations very soon after that; it has therefore been only a matter of weeks. The regulations being drafted are complex and a number of meetings have been held, one as recently as yesterday, with people from the Western Australian Fruit Growers Association and the like, to determine how those regulations may be enacted so that industry has some ownership of them. I have an open mind about a memorandum of understanding. Some industry groups have different opinions and we are currently working through that issue with those groups.
