Perth Scorchers;
Western Power has a Community Education partnership with the Perth Scorchers. As part of this sponsorship Western Power was provided with 20 general admission tickets to each of four home matches between December 2014 and January 2015. In addition Western Power received 20 silver tickets to the 8 January match assigned by the WACA as a dedicated match day.
Separate to this agreement Western Power also purchased in total 200 silver adult tickets spread between the four matches on 22 December, 26 December, 1 January and 8 January.
Management or the board did not attend any matches. Tickets were allocated largely to frontline staff as part of Western Power's employee recognition program, and as part of an internal competition. The cost of these additional tickets was $6,600 including GST.
Western Power was also given access to a 12x person suite for the 8 January match. Two Western Power employees accompanied 10 of Western Power's industry partners. Western Power purchased catering for the suite at an additional cost of $1,668.

Western Power had an agreement with the Perth Symphony Orchestra between 10 October 2014 and 12 November 2014 as a supporter of the Perth Chamber Orchestra's Vivaldi by Candlelight event, 5 November 2014. The purpose of this agreement was to test the potential of developing a regional community focused partnership with the Perth Symphony Orchestra.
As part of that agreement, Perth Symphony Orchestra invited three Western Power employees and their partners with holders of these tickets provided with priority reserved seating.
Also as part of the Perth Symphony Orchestra-Western Power agreement, the six guests attended a pre-concert event at the venue (Christ Church, Claremont) which was for the duration of 30 minutes prior to the concert.
Since the 5 November 2014 event, Western Power has not committed to any further agreements with the Perth Symphony Orchestra.
