QuestionView source ↗

(1) Because of the poor production of honey in the frost and low rainfall affected areas in the last two or three years, which has affected the income of beekeepers in Western Australia, can the fees paid to CALM by beekeepers be waived under the duress of no financial return?
(2) Will the Government allow a rebate on fuel to beekeepers who are under the duress of no financial return?

(2) No, primary producers that use vehicles over 4.5 tonnes to undertake their business are eligible for a fuel rebate under the Diesel Fuel Rebate Scheme administered by the Australian Tax Office on behalf of the Commonwealth Government. Vehicles under this weight are not eligible. The State Government does not administer a fuel rebate scheme.
