I have a supplementary question. Can the Premier guarantee

When the article appeared, obviously the staff in the
Department of the Premier and Cabinet who look after the code checked it; there
is no issue.
Mr B.S. Wyatt : You
can guarantee that?
Mr C.J. BARNETT : I
can guarantee it to the extent that I have absolutely no knowledge, nor do I
have any—any—belief that there was any impropriety at all;

The SPEAKER :
Member for Victoria Park!
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
There has been no breach of any of the three areas of declaration. All the
Labor Party does is play the man and put out innuendo.
Several members interjected.
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
That is all it does!
Several members interjected.
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
It spent last week doing it, and it has done it today. As they say: put up or
shut up! There is no transgression at all here. The opposition is wrong in
terms of parliamentary declaration, conflict of interest and the Ministerial
Code of Conduct.
Several members interjected.
Mr C.J. BARNETT :
They just play the man.
