MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES — JOB LOSSES
I have a supplementary question. It is interesting to hear the Premier say that his government will take an aggressive approach to the protection of manufacturing jobs in Western Australia, but when? When will we see anything like a public comment or a jobs strategy to defend the jobs that are being lost now? Mr C.J. BARNETT

I do not know where the member’s assertion that no public comment has been made comes from. For example, I have made a number of comments about the job losses at E.G. Green and the abattoir.
