There is not currently a schedule of meetings specifically for hospital Directors of Nursing/Health Service Managers in the Southwest. Directors of Nursing/Health Service Managers attend numerous meetings for a range of reasons and with a number of people across various localities in the Southwest and in Perth as part of their day-to-day work. These meetings may cover matters such as professional development, safety and quality, clinical meetings, working groups, meetings with stakeholders and local agencies, meetings with community and Departmental meetings of all senior staff.

3.
Most meetings are day meetings, for which the only cost incurred is the time out to attend and travel. Under Clause 24A of the Hospital Salaried Officers (South West Area Health Service) Enterprise Agreement 2001 the rate for overnight accommodation and meals for the South West is $143.80 per night.
4.
The majority of meetings are day meetings, where meals/snacks may or may not be provided by health service units or other agencies. Any costs of this nature are generally part of daily operating expenses. The cost for meals incurred with any overnight stay is included within the award rate for overnight accommodation as referred to in answer (3).
5.
As is the case for meetings arranged as part of a working day in any organisation, venues are chosen by whomever organises the meeting, in accordance with the attendees needs.
