Hon MURRAY CRIDDLE to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health: I refer to the position of director of nursing at the Northampton, Three Springs, Kalbarri, Mullewa and Morawa hospitals. (1) Is the position of DON at each of these facilities to be moved to Geraldton? (2) If so, why and when? (1)-(5) Currently in the WA Country Health Service, mid-west, there are director of nursing/health service manager positions overseeing Northampton, Kalbarri and Mullewa and at Morawa, Perenjori and Three Springs.  There is also a director of nursing/health service manager for Dongara, Eneabba and Mingenew.  The regional director of the WA Country Health Service, mid-west, is currently seeking the views of the senior management team on this arrangement.  Any proposed changes will be discussed with staff and unions.
