I refer to new hospitals being constructed and major hospitals currently under major redevelopments, such as Midland Health Campus, Albany Health Campus, Fiona Stanley Hospital, the new Children's Hospital, Busselton Health Campus and Kalgoorlie Hospital, and ask:
(a) which of these new hospitals, or major redevelopments, include a new dedicated outpatient building;
(b) what is capital cost of each dedicated outpatient building at each of the above hospitals, listed by hospital;
(c) what services are to be located in the dedicated outpatient building at each of the above hospitals; and
(d) how many consulting rooms are included in each outpatient building, listed by hospital?

New Children's Hospital
(a) The New Children's Hospital (NCH) will include an outpatient precinct, which will be incorporated into three floors of the NCH.
(b) As the NCH outpatient precinct is currently in the design phase, capital costs have not yet been determined.
(c) All current PrincessMargaretHospitalfor Children paediatric outpatient services will be transitioned and incorporated into NCH outpatient precinct. These include Oncology; Haematology; Burns; Mental Health; Immunology; Endocrinology; Diabetes; Gastroenterology; Ophthalmology; Plastics; Orthopaedics; Child Protection Unit; Audiology; Dental; Physiotherapy; Orthotics; Occupational Therapy; Hydrotherapy; Paediatric Rehabilitation; Speech Pathology; Nutrition and Dietetics;
Cardiology; Neurology; Respiratory; Renal; Gynaecology; Ear, Nose and Throat;
Medical; Neonatal; Surgical; Refugee Health; Rural Paediatrics; Stomal Therapy;
Enuresis; Clinical Research; Day Treatment Unit; Eating Disorders; Rheumatology; Genetics; and Dermatology.
(d) A total of 140 consulting rooms are planned in the NCH outpatient precinct, with an additional number of shared treatment, specialist and interview rooms.
Midland Health Campus
(a) Not applicable. St John of God Health Care will provide outpatient services as per its contract with the State Government to build and run the Midland Health Campus. There is no separate, stand alone outpatient building as part of the $360 million public hospital construction. Outpatient services will be included in the main building.
(b - c) Not applicable.
(d) Ten (10) dedicated consulting rooms are provided in the Outpatients Department in the main building, adjacent to a waiting area, play area and offices and reception area. The area is adjacent to the plaster room (for the Fracture Clinic) as well as eight (8) additional consulting rooms that are used for allied health and nursing related outpatient clinics. The area is co-located with the DayHospitaland Allied Health area which also includes a gymnasium, physiotherapy treatment area and OT treatment areas.
Fiona StanleyHospital
(a) FionaStanleyHospitaldoes not have a dedicated outpatient building.
(b - d) Not applicable.
Albany Health Campus
(a) The new AlbanyHealth Campus will include an Ambulatory Care wing, which will include outpatient based services.
(b) It is not possible to identify the capital cost of the buildings to accommodate outpatient services as these facilities will also accommodate other services.
(c) The Albany Health Campus Ambulatory Care wing will accommodate: Adult Allied Health Services; Sub Acute Care Services; Specialist Outpatient Services; Surgical Pre-Admission Clinics; Stress testing services; the Regional Cancer Centre (including chemotherapy and the Solaris Care complementary therapy service); Palliative Care Services; Renal Dialysis; Hospital in the Home; Stomal therapy/urology; and wound management Services.

Busselton Health Campus
(a) The new Busselton Health Campus includes ambulatory care and outpatient services. The new facility is being designed as a single building. Although there is not a dedicated outpatient building, there are dedicated areas within the building for ambulatory care/outpatient services. This approach facilitates the integration of services across the spectrum of care.
(b) It is not possible to identify the capital cost of the buildings to accommodate outpatient services as these facilities will also accommodate other services.
(c) Busselton Health Campus ambulatory care/outpatient services will accommodate: specialist consulting rooms; a community health centre; community aged care; a community mental health clinic; dental clinic; renal dialysis; pathology and medical imaging.

(a) Phase Three of the Stage One Redevelopment of Kalgoorlie Health Campus will include the redevelopment of part of an existing building (Block One) to be used for Outpatients.
