Regarding the Environmental Impact Statement prepared by AECOM Australia on behalf of Tidal Energy Australia (TEA) for the proposed Derby Tidal Power project, I ask: (a) does the Minister have any information to show that the TEA managing director Brian Rourke has any practical or operational experience in relation to environmental matters associated with the proposal, as required of a company director in his position: (i) if yes to (a), will the Minister table this information, and if not, why not; and (ii) if Mr Rourke does not have the requisite knowledge and experience, will this disqualify TEA from gaining approval for the project, and if not, why not; and (b) does the Minister have any information about the credentials and experience of personnel connected with TEA, including Mr Rourke, that guarantees the company's capacity to establish and manage its proposed experimental tidal power station in Doctor's Creek, Derby: (i) if yes to (b), would the Minister table this information, and if not, why not?
