I refer to the Government's C-series trains, and I ask: (a) have any of the following issues been identified during the roll out of the C-series trains: (i) doors opening, or closing, when they shouldn't; (ii) braking inconsistencies or other reported braking issues; (iii) difficulty communicating using the Passenger Emergency Intercom; (iv) difficulty communicating using the train radio; (v) platform detection issues; (vi) auto speed issues causing surging and/or over-speeding; and (vii) excessive swaying/lateral movement at speed?

(a) During the rollout of the C-series trains, some technical issues have been experienced. Many of these have been software related. Such teething issues are not uncommon with the rollout of any new fleet of trains.
