231 sporting clubs in the East Metropolitan region shared $772 358.50 in KidSport funding in 2015-16. Please note: the number of clubs differs from the previous advice provided in Legislative Council question without notice 1052. The information extracted from the database at the time counted clubs that crossed-over several electorates multiple times. Therefore, the initial figure was an over-representation of the actual number of clubs accessing KidSport in the region. The indicative nature of the information was highlighted and advised at the time of providing the advice in Legislative Council question without notice 1052. The table attached provides a list of the individual clubs within the East Metropolitan region who receive KidSport funding. [See tabled paper no.].
