(1) Health Service activity to inform the Clinical Service Framework was modelled up to 2021?22.  The modelling is done annually to take into account changes in service delivery and population growth.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The modelling is currently being updated with actual activity data to 2010?11.  The modelling/analysis is being undertaken up to 2026?27 but is not yet available.
(4) The Clinical Services Framework only includes regional and integrated district hospitals in the country. The most current inpatient projections for these sites in the South West by 2021?22 are as summarised in the table below compared to 2009?10 actual activity (more detailed table at [see tabled paper no]). The growth in activity is primarily due to population growth.  There is no anticipated change to the activity growth pattern between the CSF 2020 and 2022. Activity?based funding will reflect the growth in activity based on the national efficient price.
