(1) There is limited mobile phone coverage from Optus infrastructure external to the tunnel.
(2) All major phone carriers, noting that Optus infrastructure installed for Perth Underground station is shared with other carriers.
(3) Not applicable
(4) The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has been in discussions with Optus since November 2009 regarding the placement of mobile phone infrastructure in the new tunnel. Optus designers provided a preliminary design for tunnel equipment in 2012 but have not moved forward to implementation as yet.
