(a) Mr Scott Curry was employed as the Head of Music at the West Australian Opera, not the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra. Matters pertaining to employment at West Australian Opera are most appropriately addressed by the organisation.
(b) This is a matter to be considered by the Board of the West Australian Opera.
(c) The Ring Cycle referred to is a production the current Artistic Director is conducting for the National Opera for presentation in Melbourne in 2013. Electra is presented in partnership with Thin Ice Productions and received additional funding through the Department of Culture and the Arts Major Production Fund. This opera will be premiered during Perth International Arts Festival in 2012.
