Long service leave—Casual employees
954. Hon Steve Martin to
the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister
for Health:
I refer to the 2019
decision to extend long service leave entitlements to casual employees.
(1) Has the Department of Health completed
implementation of the 2019 decision and have all casual employees had their
entitlements assessed and processed?
(2) If no:
(a) what proportion of eligible employees have had
their entitlements assessed and processed;
(b) what is the expected timeframe for full
implementation; and
(c) what are the reasons for the continued delay
in processing these entitlements more than five years after the policy change?
