(a) Current accommodation of DEC is being reorganised with the
environmental services sections of DEC to be primarily based in DEC's existing
premises and at 181-205 Davy Street Booragoon, and the Department of Parks and
Wildlife to be accommodated at DEC's current Dick Perry Avenue Kensington,
Turner Avenue Bentley, and Crawley office buildings in the metropolitan area
and at existing locations outside the metropolitan area.
(b)-(c) The organisational arrangements are being considered by a
steering committee that includes representatives from the Department of the
Premier and Cabinet, Public Sector Commission, Department of Treasury and DEC
reporting to a Chief Executive Officer Consultative Group, which will make
recommendations to the Minister for Environment and the Premier.
