MUJA A AND B — COLLIE BASIN PROJECTS
What measures will the minister put in place to ensure that projects such as Bluewaters 3 and 4 and Perdaman Industries are at no competitive or other disadvantage in seeking approvals for operations in the Collie Basin in the face of this government’s decision to extend the life of the Muja A and B plants with their new private sector joint venture partner? Hon DONNA FARAGHER

As Minister for Environment, I deal with environmental approvals—full stop! Obviously, matters surrounding the Environmental Protection Authority are referred to me, and then I make decisions in relation to environmental approvals. I do not have responsibility for all other aspects of a particular proposal.
