I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Yes. (2) Teck Cominco Ltd of Canada, which has acquired the project, is considering how and when the project may be reopened. The Government would be receptive to examining with the new owner any impediments to the operation continuing to operate. The Minister for the Kimberley and officers from the Kimberley Development Commission are also having ongoing discussions with the company.
