(1) I refer to the ongoing discussions over the future of Gloucester Park and ask is Gloucester Park owned by the W A Trotting Association (W A T A) or is it Crown land?
(2) Does the Government have a view on -
(a) the retention of the existing track, and its re-development along the lines prepared for Bruline developments on behalf of the W A T A; and
(b) the sale of Gloucester Park, and the pooling of such proceeds with the W A Turf Club for redevelopment at Belmont Park?
(3) Are both issues included in the review of the racing industry commissioned by the State Government?
(4) When is the review expected to be completed?
(5) Does the Government acknowledge the heritage value of the Gloucester Park complex, and its place in the local, national and international trotting scene?
(6) Will the Parliament have the opportunity to deliberate on the issues involved, before any final decisions are made, especially if Government funds are to be used?
