I refer to the Attorney General’s decision to release Martin Rapaera Marks. (1) Is it part of Martin Rapaera Marks’ release program to attend the cinema? (2) If so - (a) is the Attorney General aware that Marks has previously assaulted his victim in the cinema? (b) has the person accompanying Marks been advised of his previous offending? (3) What steps have been taken to prevent another assault while he is in the cinema? (4) What steps have been taken to ensure the safety of members of the public during Marks’ cinema outings? (5) Has the Attorney General declined Mrs Margaret Hunter’s request to meet him? (6) If so, why; and if not, when will he meet her? Hon NICK GRIFFITHS
