(1) How many industries have leases on Dampier Island and the adjacent islands?
(2) What are the names of those industries and their lease numbers?
(3) For those industries listed in (2), what is the date of expiry of those leases?
(4) Are there any other leases granted on Dampier Island and the adjacent islands not identified in answers (1), (2), and (3)?
(5) If yes to (4), will the Minister provide the same data sought in answers (1), (2), and (3)?

Since the question relates to industrial development on the Burrup , it is assumed that references to Dampier Island mean the Burrup Peninsula . (1) (a) The following companies have leases on the Burrup Peninsula administered by the Department of Industry and Resources: · Hamersley Iron - covering large areas around Parker Point, East Intercourse Island and near the town of Dampier. Pursuant to the Hamersley Range Agreement , the leases can be extended to perpetuity. · North West Shelf Venture - covering large areas towards the northern end of the Burrup Peninsula.
