I thank the member for some notice of this question.
(1)–(4)
The budget of $1.5 million for 12 months has been pooled from existing
communications budgets across the Departments of Planning and Transport and the
Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority, and is designed to replace some existing
activities and avoid significant duplication of messages and costs. The costs
outlined are included in the overall budget. The cost of establishing the new
website was $74 500 and an additional $5 500 has been allocated to maintain the
site until 30 June 2013. The cost to produce television advertisements,
designed to be broadcast over some years, was $385 000. Currently, $388 450 has
been committed for television advertisements until mid-December 2012. The
budget to produce print media is $25 000 in 2012–13. The budget for
print media placement in 2012–13 is approximately $92 000. The budgeted
cost to produce and maintain all posters and on-site signage is $50 000.
