268. Mr V.A. CATANIA to the Minister for Emergency Services:
I have a supplementary question.
Since the minister has not yet met with the business community of Kalbarri and
the government is sitting on a $5 billion surplus, will the minister meet with
businesses to discuss the financial impact and ruin that they are now
undergoing?

That was a false comment, with
respect to the member. I have just explained to him that I have met with
business leaders right across the community. I have been to the region,
including Kalbarri, six times. I have met many business leaders and I will
continue to do so.
