I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Mt Henry Hospital and nursing home was closed. (2) None. However, 60 licences were transferred to Anglican Homes, 10 to Baptist Hospital and Homes Trust, one to Brightwater Care Group and one to Halls Creek Peoples Church Frail Aged Hostel; and 72 beds were committed to a multi-purpose service initiative. (3) The Government funds 208 beds. (4) The State Government owns and operates Numbala Nunga Nursing home, Derby, which has 50 beds; and Yulanya Nursing Home, Port Hedland, which has 30 beds. The Minister for Health has approved negotiations to transfer to the non-government sector 21 state government nursing home beds at Brookton and 48 beds each at Bunbury and Albany. Five state government nursing home beds at Halls Creek and six at Fitzroy Crossing have been allocated to aged care development in the Kimberley.
