The Member may be interested to know that the Liberal-National Government has continued to support WA Seniors Card holders, pensioners and carers through the further extension of free public transport.
Previously Seniors SmartRider holders were eligible for free travel between 9am and 3.30pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays. These passengers can now also travel without charge between 7pm and 6am on weekdays, allowing them to better experience our transforming city and remain involved in the community.(1) 380,559 as at 30 June 2015.
