DEVELOPMENTWA —
RENEWABLE ENERGY
1577. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the minister representing the
Minister for Lands:
DevelopmentWA pioneered gas-free
developments in WGV, Knutsford and OneOneFive Hamilton Hill. DevelopmentWA's Net zero transition plan 3 of 2024 commits to electrification by 2025,
stating that it will have plans in place for fully electric projects where
appropriate. By 2030, it will scale up projects, with plans in place to be
fully electric and/or have renewable energy sourcing.
(1) How many residential projects
does DevelopmentWA currently have under construction?
(2) Of all projects in (1), how many
include reticulated gas?
(3) Is
DevelopmentWA still committed to gas-free developments as part of its
residential projects?
(4) How does DevelopmentWA
plan to ensure its developments built today are net zero by 2050 if they
include gas?
