I refer to the Western Australian Police Force, and ask: (a) How many assaults on police officers have there been in 2020 (to date); (b) For the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 (to date) what was the average number of sick days for police officers; (c) For the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 (to date) how many chaplains did the Western Australian Police Force have; and (d) How many police officers have exited the force in the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 (to date)?

The Western Australian Police Force advise:
(a) There is no excuse for assaulting our police officers who do a dangerous and difficult job and deserve our respect and support. 725 offences have occurred between 1 January 2020 and 11 September 2020.
