(1) A licence to operate a transmitter is required from the Australian Broadcasting Authority (ABA) before transmission can commence and in this regard, the TAB has been in discussion with the ABA since 1997.
(2) The ABA is currently reviewing the Collie Exclusion Zones and the Local Area Plan, and a meeting between the ABA and the TAB to discuss the Collie Exclusion Zones for low power open narrowcasting services is scheduled for 22 October 2002.
