(a)-(b)  As of 1 January 2026, the Main Roads Wheatbelt region has 10 maintenance crews, with six based in Northam; and five in Narrogin.
There are 22 positions across all crews, including 14 road maintenance staff; four general maintenance staff; and four sign maintenance staff.
(c)        The maintenance transition is being assessed by various means including workforce capacity and capability, local jobs and economic opportunities, Aboriginal participation, and maintenance operations.
(d)       $45 million in 2024-25; $54 million in 2025-26; out-years to be determined.
