CYCLISTS — PRINCIPAL SHARED PATHWAYS
348. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the recently completed
cycle pathway between Cottesloe and the Perth central business district.
(1) When will
works commence on extensions to the principal shared pathway for cyclists
between Cottesloe and Fremantle?
(2) When will the Perth to Fremantle
PSP be completed?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) The
extension of the PSP from Grant Street to Cottesloe Station is scheduled to
commence in mid-2018 and be completed in December 2018. The PSP will then be
extended to Victoria Street by June 2019. Planning work for the extension of
the PSP from Victoria Street to Tydeman Road is
underway.
